notnaughtyjustfriendlySetting: Thelema is from the original Devil May Cry setting, mostly building on ideas from DMC1 and DMC3.
Brief History: Thelema is a succubus. She was adopted by an independently wealthy Russian Devil-Hunter and demonologist shortly before he went into retirement. He couldn't bring himself to destroy her, and decided instead to educate her and raise her to be able to integrate into human society. This meant instilling her with a code of ethics, if not a true sense of shame or guilt. Thelema learned quite well, coming to understand the notion of friendship--but she has difficulty with some of the boundaries that seem to come so naturally to humans, such as the distinction between a friend and a lover. She tends to see everyone as either potential friends-with-some-degree-of-benefits, or threats/enemies, but at least everyone starts out in the first category. Although she finds personal combat extremely distasteful, she's always happy to help a friend (after all, besides sex, what are friends for?), employing her own particular brand of witchcraft in a support role, drawing on her own Devil power, rather than making pacts with Demons or other Devils.

Abilities:
* Devil Physique - Thelema's strength and constitution are modestly superhuman. Despite having the build of a lingerie model, she easily outclasses all but the strongest humans. However, she's physically no match compared to Warrior-Devils (e.g. the line of Sparda); she can't juggle motorcycles, but she could definitely deadlift one if she wanted to.
* Devil Power - Thelema feeds on the energy of desire, and innately absorbs desire directed at her, replenishing her Devil Power. She is capable of drawing it out of a subject by force, but this is against her upbringing and she dislikes predation. Her elemental affiliation is Shadow. She can share a portion of her power with others to strengthen and rejuvenate them; she can also unleash it violently, but would only do so in dire straits.
* Witchcraft - Thelema specializes in a unique form of witchcraft: rather than forming a bond with a familiar or a pact with some greater power, she invests her own Devil Power hexes and charms. She can craft fetishes (there's a pun in here somewhere) linking her to other people, which allows her to sense their condition and channel a portion of her strength to them without direct contact. She can conjure simple objects formed from her own Devil Power, reshape conjured objects, or banish those objects to regain the Power contained in them. Through her Shadow-affiliated Devil Power, she can take control of shadows, using them for scrying, opening them as portals, passing through them, or extruding them as tendrils for grappling if necessary.
